Musical hallucination (MH) is the experience of hearing music when none is beingplayed. Hearing sound that no-one else can hear is quite common, but theexperience is normally of a simple sound such as a buzzing, ringing, or sizzling:this is known as tinnitus. In a small number of people however, these experiencescan be more complex and emotive, and music can be heard.
If anyone has found a way of easing the condition of Tinnitus or Musical hallucination whether it be by relaxation, excersise, hypnosis, Sound Therapy,Counselling, Cognative behavioural Therapy (CBT),Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) or Support Groups, then let us know about it, so that we can post and help others.
Little is known of the condition called ‘Musical Hallucination’ sometimes called ‘Musical Ear Syndrome’ or ‘Musical Tinnitus’. In my experience, even some hearing specialists ( of which I am not ) are unaware of the condition. I have attempted to gather as much information as I can, including that of my own experiences, in an attempt to make people more aware of this condition and hopefully to help them come to terms with it.. Call back on a regular basis, as I hope to add new information as and when it becomes available.  Please read mydisclaimer further down the page
